Justin Naylor

Enhance your knowledge by working side by side with an experienced cook, or pamper yourself by having a private dinner prepared for you in your own home or ours.

Cooking classes cost $40 per person and take place on the first Saturday of the month from 5 until 8 pm. All classes are hands-on, and include the preparation and enjoyment of a traditional Italian meal, including two carefully selected Italian wines. Recipes are given in written form for students to take home, and there is plenty of time for questions and the fellowship that comes from sharing good food.

Private dinners are held at the farm on the second Saturday of them month. The quality of dining and service will equal that of a fine restaurant while the comfort and intimacy of the setting will be that of a private residence. Dinners cost $30 per person, or $40 per person with an optional wine pairing.

Both cooking classes and private dinners can be scheduled on different days by arrangement, either at the farm or in a client's home.

Gift certificates are available. Both cooking classes and private dinners make wonderful gifts!

About Your Instructor

Justin Naylor began offering cooking classes in 2004 after years of studying and preparing regional Italian dishes. During the summer of 2005, he and his wife, Dillon, travelled to Italy for a series of apprenticeships at several farms in order to deepen and broaden their knowledge. While there, Justin and Dillon made Italian cheeses, cooked with Italian farm families, and helped out in restaurant kitchens. In 2006, Justin began offering classes at the Inn at North East Creek, in North East Maryland, and in the same year he completed an apprenticeship at the celebrated Italian restaurant Pane e Salute, in Woodstock, VT. In the summer of 2007, Justin and Dillon moved to Stillwater, PA in order to found Old Tioga Farm, where Justin continues to pursue his passion for teaching Italian cooking.
